Marbella Hotel to receive €65 million Makeover

Magna Hotels and Resorts get the go-ahead to renovate and redesign Marbella’s iconic Don Miguel Hotel.

Last December, Marbella council issued a license for the demolition of part of the hotel but Magna Hotels waited to get full planning permission so demolition and renovation could start at the same time.

Managed by French group Club Med, the hotel will be redesigned to cater for families and offer all-inclusive holiday packages. The hotel will have 486 rooms as well as staff accommodation, conference rooms and play areas. The project, estimated to cost €64.5 million, will also include a sports area, golf course, spa and swimming pools, reports RTN Newspaper.
